About Bonnie Breen

I am a highly skilled and compassionate counsellor with extensive experience in helping individuals overcome challenges and achieve personal growth and healing. I employ an integrated approach in my practice, drawing from multiple therapeutic modalities, including person-centered, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic, and solution-focused techniques.

In my person-centered approach, I create a welcoming and non-judgmental space where clients feel safe to express themselves freely. I place great importance on building a genuine therapeutic relationship based on empathy, respect, and trust. I recognise that each person is unique and tailor my approach to understand their individual experiences, perspectives, and needs.

I also incorporate CBT into my practice, which focuses on identifying and changing negative thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to emotional distress. I work collaboratively with clients to develop healthy coping strategies, challenge unhelpful beliefs, and acquire practical skills to manage difficult situations effectively.
